New Season Treatment Centers have been providing outpatient treatment specializing in care for individuals with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) for over 30 years.
This position involves clerical and administrative duties to greet, register, and admit patients, schedule appointments, and support patient intake in a healthcare facility. Responsibilities include pre-registration of new clients, patient orientation, monitoring patient activities, collecting co-payments, entering demographic and clinical information accurately, verifying insurance benefits, obtaining prior authorizations, and general administrative tasks like answering phones, mail handling, and supply management.
Strong communication with Program Director, physicians, and nursing staff is required. The role maintains confidentiality, supports clinic operations, and adheres to organizational policies.
Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, strong customer service and knowledge of electronic health records and medical insurance. At least 1 year of receptionist/cashier or related experience plus 1 year healthcare experience is preferred.
Skills needed: literacy, computer literacy, strong communication, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Physical demands are sedentary with occasional light exertion; work environment includes moderate noise levels.
Job requires medical insurance verification and prefers patient coordination experience.
