Perform routine medical record/chart maintenance including locating, logging, retrieving, and filing all medical records. Abstract specific information from medical records/charts for quality improvement and billing purposes.
Operate office systems such as telephone, medical record software, and off-site storage retrieval program.
Retrieve and retain information by observing, receiving, filing, scanning, and obtaining information from all relevant sources as the Medical Record Coordinator.
Provide customer service, understanding customer needs, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluating customer satisfaction.
Perform other assigned duties.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year related experience preferred.
