The Medical Records Clerk maintains the Health Center's electronic health records (EHR) in accordance with established procedures and policies. This position serves as a back-up to and works as a team with Patient Registration Clerk.
Reports to: Business Office Manager
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED certificate, good written and verbal communication skills, bilingual in English and Spanish, pleasant and patient-oriented attitude, one year previous experience in a clinic or office setting or equivalent training, ability to accurately enter and verify information in an EHR, and availability to work a flexible 40-hour week including Wednesday nights and Saturdays.
