MainStreet Family Care is seeking a Medical Records Specialist to join their Revenue Cycle team at their Birmingham headquarters. This full-time, on-site role (Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) supports healthcare operations by processing medical record requests, managing insurance correspondence, maintaining Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and Electronic Remittance Advices (ERAs), and supporting claims resolution and payment posting teams.
Responsibilities include:
- Processing medical record requests with accuracy and urgency
- Updating pay-to addresses for insurance payments
- Saving, uploading, and maintaining EOBs and ERAs
- Supporting claims resolution and payment posting teams
- Providing internal customer service to clinic and billing partners
This role is critical for protecting the integrity of personal healthcare information and ensuring access to records.
