Medical Records Legal Assistant

DORDICK LAW CORPORATION

Dordick Law Corporation, a mid-sized personal injury law firm, is seeking an experienced Medical Records Legal Assistant to assist legal teams in collecting and organizing medical records for litigation and arranging treatment and support for clients. The practice focuses on catastrophic personal injury. This position requires working onsite at the downtown Los Angeles or Beverly Hills office.

Key responsibilities include arranging medical care and diagnostics, reviewing litigation files for missing records, requesting medical records and billing, uploading records to CMS, assisting paralegals with records tasks, and preparing cases for trial with medical illustrations.

Qualifications include knowledge and experience with personal injury litigation, subpoenaed records, medical records and billing, and proficiency in Spanish (speak/read/write).

Additional skills required are proficiency in Microsoft Office and other technology including AI, professional attitude, strong communication skills, resourcefulness, organization, multitasking, and time management. A college degree is preferred but not required.

This is a full-time, on-site position in Beverly Hills, CA, with no remote work option. Salary is offered at $35-$38 per hour depending on experience. Requirements & Qualifications
  • Experience with personal injury litigation and subpoenaed records
  • Knowledge of medical records and billing processes
  • Ability to speak, read, and write Spanish

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills
  • College degree preferred but not required
