Medical Records / Business Office Float

United Surgical Partners International, Inc

Millennium Surgical Center is seeking a per diem Medical Records / Business Office Float to maintain and review medical records for accurate completion and authentication, safeguard records, and cover various business office functions such as answering phones, front desk reception, data entry, insurance verification, patient calls, and chart scanning. This role requires outstanding multitasking, communication, and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include auditing medical records, filing and maintaining documents, assisting clinical teams to ensure chart completion, pulling charts daily for physicians and anesthesiologists, sending delinquent chart notifications, reviewing and filing operative reports, handling requests for medical records, providing front business office relief, cross-training for other business functions, and additional duties assigned by the Business Office Manager.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years hospital or medical office experience preferred
  • Professional verbal and non-verbal communication
  • Efficient time management in a high-paced setting
  • Strong desire to contribute to facility improvement
  • Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills

Pay range is $21.00/hr - $25.00/hr based on qualifications and experience.
