Vendor Specialist Denials Team

The Vendor Specialist acts as a key liaison between the healthcare organization and external vendor partners concerning patient account inquiries. This role manages patient financial accounts, ensures accurate billing, and resolves account discrepancies. Collaborates closely with billing, coding, and collections teams to address outstanding balances.

The position requires 1-3 years of medical insurance experience or equivalent hospital setting experience. A High School diploma or equivalent is required, with medical billing or collections coding education considered a plus.

The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare billing, patient accounts, explanation of benefits, medical insurance verification, and revenue cycle operations. Familiarity with denial management and appeals is preferred. Strong attention to detail, auditing experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) plus 10-key data entry skills are needed.
