Job Title: Trauma Registrar

Job Location: Richland, WA 99352

Job Duration: 3+ months (High Possibility of Extension)

Pay Range: $43.00 - $45.00 per hour on W2

Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 AM - 04:00 PM)

Job Description:

• ON-SITE 1 year healthcare experience required

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare or related setting
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Coursework or training in medical terminology and human anatomy, or equivalent education/experience
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with interruptions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Coursework or training in medical coding
• 1 year of medical record abstracting and/or coding experience
• 1 year of medical registry experience or 2+ years in a healthcare-related field
• Experience with injury severity coding and reimbursement coding

Experience:

• Medical record abstracting: 1 year (Preferred)
• Medical registry: 1 year (Preferred)
• Injury severity coding and reimbursement coding: 1 year (Preferred)
