Treatment Plan Coordinator / Check Out Receptionist

We are seeking an experienced Treatment Plan Coordinator / Check Out Receptionist to join our offices in Hattiesburg and D'Iberville. This role ensures a seamless patient experience by coordinating treatment plans, verifying insurance benefits, and supporting an efficient check-out and scheduling process.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and finalizing all patient appointments and treatment schedules at check-out
  • Reviewing, explaining, and communicating treatment plans to patients professionally
  • Maintaining accurate and HIPAA-compliant patient records
  • Verifying insurance benefits, eligibility, and coverage for treatments
  • Assisting with billing processes, including documentation and ICD-10 coding
  • Using electronic health record (EHR) and medical scheduling/billing software
  • Collaborating with physicians and clinical staff to ensure smooth workflow and quality patient care
  • Traveling between Hattiesburg and D'Iberville offices (monthly travel allowance provided)

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, has at least 1 year experience in a procedure-based clinical setting, possesses strong insurance knowledge, proficiency in medical terminology, and familiarity with ICD-10 coding and billing practices. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are required.

Requirements & Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year experience as Treatment Plan Coordinator or equivalent role in a procedure-based clinical setting
  • Strong insurance knowledge
  • Proficiency in medical terminology
  • Experience with ICD-10 coding and medical billing practices preferred
  • Familiarity with EHR systems and medical scheduling software
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Must be able to travel between offices
