Dental Office Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Dental Office Manager to lead our dental practice with energy and enthusiasm. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, ensuring exceptional patient care, and maintaining financial health. Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all front office and clinical staff to ensure seamless daily operations and exceptional patient experiences.
  • Oversee fiscal management including budgeting, billing, coding, and financial reporting to optimize practice profitability.
  • Manage medical records, patient scheduling, and electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, eClinicalWorks, or Epic to ensure accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Coordinate human resources functions including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development.
  • Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations such as JCAHO standards, HIPAA privacy rules, and managed care requirements.
  • Oversee clinic inventory management, supply ordering, and vendor relationships to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Facilitate communication between clinical teams, patients, insurance providers, and external healthcare entities for smooth practice management.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in medical office management within a dental or healthcare setting with strong supervisory background.
  • Extensive knowledge of dental office workflows, medical administrative support, and clinic operations.
  • Proficiency in EMR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, eClinicalWorks or Epic; familiarity with EHR systems is essential.
  • Strong fiscal management skills including budgeting, financial analysis, and managed care billing processes.
  • Experience supervising staff members across administrative and clinical roles in a healthcare environment.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, HIPAA compliance standards and healthcare regulations such as JCAHO guidelines.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Ability to foster a positive team environment through effective human resources practices and leadership.
