MaxHealth is seeking a Senior Clinical Systems Integration Analyst to support clinical and operational systems, connected workflows, and data movement across the organization. This role involves understanding work performance, system information exchange, and identifying breakdowns when data or workflows do not align.
Responsibilities include workflow analysis, requirements elicitation, integration mapping, application support, testing, vendor coordination, and issue triage. The analyst facilitates conversations with operational, clinical, application, data, and technical teams and translates discussions into documentation and actionable next steps.
The role supports clinical and operational technologies such as EHR/EMR systems, patient engagement tools, remote patient monitoring platforms, care management systems, referral and scheduling tools, reporting platforms, data warehouses, and Microsoft-based integration services.
Key duties:
- Lead discovery sessions to understand business needs and document workflows end to end.
- Translate workflow needs into clear business, functional, data, and integration requirements.
- Map information flow between systems with an emphasis on clinical and operational workflows.
- Provide tier 2/3 support for clinical systems and workflow issues.
- Investigate and coordinate resolution of data or workflow issues.
- Develop and coordinate testing scenarios reflecting real operational workflows.
- Maintain clear documentation and ensure operational teams understand workflow changes and support paths.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in healthcare IT, clinical systems, or related fields.
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Health Informatics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or related area.
- Experience with healthcare integration concepts (HL7, FHIR, CCD, ADT, APIs).
- Strong understanding of ambulatory healthcare operations and healthcare platforms.
- Effective communication with clinical and technical teams.
Preferred qualifications include experience with value-based care, healthcare interface engines, and relevant certifications (CPHIMS, ITIL, PMP, HL7/FHIR training).
