The Epic Revenue Cycle Systems Analyst is responsible for the functional support, optimization, and issue resolution of Epic Hospital Billing (HB), Professional Billing (PB), and Claims workflows. The role partners closely with Revenue Cycle leadership, Revenue Integrity, Patient Access, Patient Financial Services, HIM, Compliance, and IT to ensure Epic revenue cycle applications meet operational needs, regulatory requirements, and financial goals.
Responsibilities include advanced support for Epic HB, PB, and Claims; troubleshooting billing, claims, and payment processes; coordinating with Epic Community Connect partners; improving billing accuracy and reimbursement outcomes; supporting clean claims initiatives; ensuring compliance with payer requirements; analyzing revenue cycle performance through Epic reporting tools; and providing training and stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree (MBA or MHA preferred) or equivalent experience, minimum 5 years of business analysis with data analytics expertise, advanced skills in Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Microsoft 365, and proficiency with Epic Revenue Cycle applications such as Cadence, Charge Master, Clarity, Cogito/Caboodle, Grand Central, HIM, Hospital Billing, Identity, MyChart, Prelude, Professional Billing, and Referrals/Authorizations. Certification in one or more Epic modules is required.
