Director, Revenue Cycle

Guidelight Health is a behavioral healthcare company focused on providing high-quality Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) services. The Director of Revenue Cycle Management will lead and optimize the entire revenue cycle process including patient access, benefit verification, coding, billing, collections, and denial management. This role partners cross-functionally with clinical, operations, and finance teams to enhance efficiency, scalability, and revenue capture.

The Director will manage a team, develop policies and workflows, ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as HIPAA and Medicare/Medicaid requirements, and stay current on payer and coding changes relevant to behavioral health. Responsibilities include overseeing billing submissions, accounts receivable, compliance, staff training, data analysis, reporting, vendor management, and participating in strategic financial planning.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, finance or related field (Master's preferred), at least 5 years of revenue cycle management experience with minimum 2 years in leadership in behavioral health, proficiency with revenue cycle software and EHRs, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, finance, business administration, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years experience in revenue cycle management, including at least 2 years in supervisory or management role
  • Experience preferably in behavioral health setting
  • Strong knowledge of billing practices, coding, and payer requirements related to behavioral health
  • Proficiency in revenue cycle management and electronic health record (EHR) systems
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid, and other healthcare regulations
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptability in fast-paced clinical environment
