Join a dynamic healthcare team as a Business Office Manager Assistant supporting the daily operations of the Business Office Department in a 144-bed Skilled Nursing Facility. Responsibilities include assisting with Medicare, Medi-Cal, Managed Care, and private pay billing and collections processes, managing resident financial records and insurance information, accounts receivable management, census accuracy verification, and collaborating with Clinical teams to ensure accurate resident and payer information. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and facility regulations while providing exceptional customer service to residents, families, and healthcare partners.
Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility business office is required. Experience with Medicare, Medi-Cal, Managed Care, and private insurance billing is preferred. Knowledge of SNF billing practices, collections, accounts receivable, and admission processes. Proficiency with EMR/EHR and healthcare billing software. Strong understanding of healthcare compliance regulations including HIPAA. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Strong communication and customer service skills. Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office.
