Ashford Gardens is hiring for a full-time Assistant Finance Manager Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
The purpose of the Assistant Financial Manager position is to assist the Financial Manager to ensure financial records of the Facility are accurate and timely, assure compliance with documented financial system policies, procedures, and practices, and provide overall financial support to the Facility's business operation. The position may require some clerical tasks.
Responsibilities include accumulating and providing data/documents for accounts receivable ledgers, maintaining patient census data, billing Medicaid agency and tracking related forms, ensuring accurate completion of admission forms and contracts, compiling and preparing data and reports, ensuring compliance with Financial Management Systems, providing administrative services to Administrator and Finance Manager, potentially acting as receptionist for visitors and patient families, assisting patients with private insurance claims, and promoting patient/resident safety.
Qualifications include a high school diploma (college degree preferred), medical billing experience highly desirable, proficiency in math and language usage, working knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, good computer skills including Microsoft Excel, medical billing software preferred, knowledge of timekeeping systems desirable, payroll experience required, and ability to read, write, and speak English.
