Finance Manager

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion are at the heart of Cantex. The Financial Manager ensures accurate and timely financial records, compliance with financial policies, and overall financial support of the facility's business operations. Responsibilities include maintaining resident financial files, reconciling trust fund accounts, preparing deposits, managing patient census data, private pay collections, Medicaid billing and tracking, record keeping, verifying insurance benefits, and assisting with Medicaid applications. The role involves team leadership, participation in financial quality assurance meetings, and ensuring compliance with clinical policies for abuse prevention. Additional duties include managing petty cash, acting as Manager on Duty on weekends, and promoting patient safety.

The position requires a high school diploma (college preferred), skilled nursing facility billing experience including Texas Medicaid, bookkeeping and accounting knowledge, and experience with computerized accounting systems like American Health Tech or HealthMedX Vision. Prior supervisory experience, strong problem-solving skills, and multitasking ability are valued.
