Precertification Manager

Neurocare, Inc., the largest employer of Sleep Technologists in New England for over 25 years, seeks a Precertification Manager to lead and oversee the precertification team focused on sleep disorder programs. This manager role involves leadership, performance management, workload distribution, staff training, quality assurance, and process improvement.

Key responsibilities include coordinating sleep study precertification, communication with providers and patients, managing staff training on insurance requirements, monitoring productivity and compliance, and collaborating with billing and clinical teams to ensure efficient authorization processing.

This role supports patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance by overseeing daily team operations, conducting audits, implementing corrective actions, and facilitating communication across departments. The manager will also lead staff development, maintain documentation accuracy, and analyze operational data to support continuous improvement.

Requirements include a high school diploma (bachelor's preferred), prior experience in medical office, healthcare administration, or insurance authorization (preferred), knowledge of medical terminology (preferred), excellent organizational and leadership skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates must demonstrate professionalism, strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities with a commitment to customer service and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
