As a Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement (QAQI) Specialist, you will oversee programmatic and interventional activities to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements, guaranteeing the quality of products and services.
Your responsibilities include monitoring clinical and operational performance, analyzing data and outcomes, conducting audits and chart reviews, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements, and documenting and reporting quality levels.
You will collaborate with clinical, administrative, and leadership teams to improve workflows, patient outcomes, and service delivery, complete health risk assessments, manage payer data reporting, respond to insurance data requests, conduct random chart audits, handle patient inquiries, manage clinic supplies, educate patients on medical issues within established parameters, and support routine office and clinic activities.
Additional duties involve assisting with special projects, community health initiatives, and organizational improvements under the guidance of the Senior Program Director.
Candidates should preferably have a college degree or relevant long-term work experience with knowledge of regulatory requirements and a knack for implementing corrective action programs.
Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) and proficiency in Microsoft Office and databases is preferred.
Strong knowledge of quality assurance standards, regulatory compliance, health risk assessments, patient monitoring protocols, data management, conducting chart audits, and implementing corrective actions are essential.
Excellent communication, organizational, and bilingual English/Spanish skills are required.
The role requires physical ability to perform light lifting, bending, walking, and working in multiple locations, with flexibility and adherence to safety protocols in various potentially adverse environments.
