Facility Administrator RN

Georgia Retina is a leading retina-only medical practice providing advanced treatments for retinal diseases and disorders in the Southeast. The Facility Administrator role involves managing the Ambulatory Surgery Center staff and programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, collaborating with clinical leadership, overseeing operational and financial aspects, and supporting quality improvement efforts. This leadership role requires coordination with providers, nursing staff, and corporate teams to maintain high standards of patient care and facility operations.

Key responsibilities include managing facility operations and supplies, driving continuous quality improvements, overseeing employee relations, ensuring compliance with state licensure and accreditation standards, supporting revenue cycle activities, addressing patient grievances, preparing reports, facilitating staff communication, and ensuring financial and payroll accuracy.

Qualifications include a Registered Nurse license with at least 3 years of ambulatory surgery operations management experience, BLS & ACLS certifications, a bachelor's degree preferred, solid understanding of nursing standards and regulations, strong leadership and financial skills, excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Requirements & Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of ambulatory surgery operations management experience
  • Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) required
  • BLS & ACLS Certification required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Strong knowledge of skilled nursing standards, federal/state regulations, and accrediting body patient safety and quality standards
  • Proven leadership ability with experience in performance improvement
  • Financial aptitude and P&L management experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work beyond normal hours as needed, including potential weekends
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to frequent priority changes
  • Team player with the ability to build consensus and collaborate across teams
