Terros Health is seeking a compassionate and professional Health Information Specialist for our Central Avenue location. Reporting to the Director of Informatics, you will manage medical records functions from client enrollment to closure and drive quality improvement to ensure Corporate Compliance Standards are met.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am-6pm, Hybrid Schedule, No Weekends.
Responsibilities include organizing, planning, and prioritizing work; answering department calls/emails; updating knowledge; utilizing electronic medical records (NextGen preferred); managing projects and process improvements; and maintaining professional interpersonal relationships.

Requirements:
- Minimum: High School diploma or equivalent; AA or Bachelor's degree preferred
- Preferred: NextGen experience or NCP certification
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Experience in behavioral health and medical records/HIM department strongly preferred
- Computer skills: Microsoft Office suite and EMR systems
- Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card (Level 1) or ability to obtain within 7 working days
- Pass background check, TB test, and pre-employment screening
