Allergy Lab Manager

The Allergy Lab Manager / Administrative Coordinator oversees daily administrative and operational functions of the Allergy Laboratory to ensure efficient workflow, high-quality patient service, and compliance with policies. This role coordinates staffing workflows, supports clinical and lab staff with organization and daily tasks, collaborates with providers and administration to improve workflows, and promotes a positive work environment.

Responsibilities include ensuring timely, organized service delivery, assisting with staff onboarding and training coordination, supporting patient communication, escalating clinical concerns to licensed providers, managing vaccine and lab supplies inventory, coordinating preparation workflows for patient vaccines and extracts, ensuring documentation and compliance with protocols, overseeing lab equipment and supplies, updating protocols and workflow documentation, managing ordering of office and lab supplies, maintaining lab cleanliness, promoting patient rights and confidentiality, and attending meetings.

Education requires a Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field; CPR certification preferred. Experience includes minimum 3 years in a medical office, allergy practice, laboratory, or healthcare administration setting, with supervisory or team coordination experience and proficiency in workflow coordination and electronic medical records.
