Customer Service Associate

Since 1970, Salud has provided a Medical Home to patients, integrating medical, dental, behavioral health, and clinical pharmacy services in a coordinated team-based system of care. The Customer Service Associate (CSA) creates a positive first impression, delivers excellent customer service, and supports patients and their families in self-management, self-efficacy, and behavior change. Responsibilities include greeting patients, front desk reception, cashier duties, check-in and check-out for appointments, making reminder calls, answering questions, and managing patient complaints to ensure a positive patient experience.

The position offers a starting wage of $19 to $21 per hour, Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, with occasional evening hours.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Preferred one year front desk/customer service experience in a medical setting
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
  • Strong communication skills and professionalism
  • Ability to work with patient care team members
  • Knowledge of medical/dental terminology preferred
  • Ability to use telephone, fax, copier, email, and electronic health records
  • Computer skills (MS Office, PowerPoint, Chrome)
  • Ability to work evening or weekend hours as needed

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Computer skills including MS Office and internet browsers
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings/weekends
