Duties include registering patients, verifying insurance eligibility, scheduling appointments, updating patient information in electronic health records, confirming appointments, assisting with provider changes, answering calls timely and professionally, supporting outreach efforts, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies. The role fosters a culture of service excellence and accountability while maintaining patient confidentiality.
High School diploma or GED required. Minimum of three years direct customer service experience required. Excellent telephone and interpersonal communication skills. Six months of recent medical front desk experience preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred. Experience with electronic health records and practice management systems preferred. Flexibility to work at any or all of Gracelight's locations.
