PetVet Care Centers' Pacific & Santa Cruz Veterinary Specialists is seeking a Specialty Referral Care Coordinator. This role focuses on coordinating patient service functions related to referring veterinarian communication, client service, and staff support. Responsibilities include managing reception, veterinary medical records, client and veterinarian liaison duties, assisting doctors, and ensuring exceptional client experiences from scheduling through discharge. The position requires strong communication, organization, and client service skills, with a focus on maintaining high quality care and collaboration within the veterinary specialty practice.
Key duties include scheduling appointments, managing client and veterinarian communication, assisting with patient admissions and discharges, organizing the client service team, updating referral communications, and participating in projects to grow the specialty referral practice. The role supports seamless coordination between doctors, clients, and referral veterinarians, ensuring updates and excellent customer service throughout patient stays. This position is full-time, involves four 10-hour shifts including weekends and holidays, and requires client service and multi-line phone experience.
