As a Chart Retrieval Specialist, you will visit various provider offices to retrieve medical records using various EMR systems and Datavant-provided equipment. This part-time role averages 20-28 hours per week with a flexible schedule, offering mileage reimbursement and per chart incentives.
You will engage professionally with healthcare providers, communicate daily progress and challenges with your remote team, and ensure accurate and timely retrieval of medical charts. Additional responsibilities include managing schedules, confirming appointments, troubleshooting technical issues, and adhering to HIPAA compliance and company policies.
This hybrid role combines field visits and remote work, requiring a reliable vehicle, internet, and strong customer service skills. Datavant provides paid training and cross-training opportunities.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Availability between 8am-5pm at least three consecutive days per week. Reliable, insured personal vehicle with a valid driver's license in good standing. Reliable internet service and phone for communication. Basic computer skills including scanning, saving, renaming files, creating folders, and uploading to secure servers. Proven punctuality, reliability, quality of work, ability to follow directions, and work independently. Strong troubleshooting abilities for technical issues. Professional business casual attire required. Ability to lift and maneuver equipment up to 45 lbs. Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance and adhere to confidentiality standards.
