Healthcare Tech Analyst III

The Healthcare Tech Analyst III functions as a skilled specialist for analysis, design, implementation, and support of technology resources within the healthcare work environment. This role involves intuitive issue resolution, innovative technology deployment, and responding to clinical scenarios with mature understanding.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing technologies and workflows to address business needs and operational efficiency.
  • Leading projects and acting as a change agent.
  • Collaborating with complex groups to enhance healthcare technologies.
  • Demonstrating expert knowledge of system functionality.
  • Developing test scripts, system documentation, and procedures.
  • Motivating others to increase knowledge of clinical and business practices, information systems, and current technologies.
  • Performing root cause analysis and recommending remediation.
  • Supporting hospital mission and confidentiality standards.
  • Providing system support with excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
  • Managing multiple duties with composure and global perspective.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Six years of direct patient care experience.
  • Six years of electronic medical record experience.
  • Currently licensed in clinical specialty by the State of Alabama.
  • Cerner applications experience preferred.
  • Master's degree preferred.

Skills include strong organizational, analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills; ability to lead, mentor, and prioritize effectively.
