Bridger Orthopedic is seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Patient Service Specialist to be the first point of contact for our patients. In this role, you'll play a vital part in coordinating patient care from start to finish—whether that is checking a patient in, scheduling certain appointments, and supporting a smooth, positive experience for every patient.

With three convenient locations, we offer flexibility in finding the right fit for both your interests and our team’s needs.

You will guide our patients by:

  • Discussing and understanding patient problems/needs
  • Facilitating patient care
  • Scheduling with best suited providers
  • Coordinating care with clinical operations staff
  • Directing authorization, medical records, and billing questions
  • Providing excellent customer service

Education:

  • Required: High School Diploma
  • Preferred: 1-year medical office experience; 1-year customer service

Personal Attributes: You will often be the first point of contact with patients. Successful Patient Service Specialists are good listeners and have great written and verbal communication skills. Computer skills are necessary for documentation in Electronic Medical Records software. Ability to multitask while participating as a team player is a must. Experience in customer service (healthcare or other industry) is preferred.

Requirements & Qualifications
  • High School Diploma required
  • Preferred 1 year medical office experience
  • Preferred 1 year customer service experience
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Computer proficiency, especially in Electronic Medical Records
  • Ability to multitask and work well in a team
  • Customer service orientation
