The role ensures accurate reporting of healthcare data for reimbursement, quality measurement, patient safety, and regulatory reporting. This position is remote.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Hospital medical coding experience preferred
- Experience with 3M 360 and Epic preferred
- Must score 80% or above on assessment; strong new coders may be considered
- Strong computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems at once
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while protecting confidential health information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS coding systems required
- Detail-oriented and efficient with productivity standards
- AHIMA or AAPC coding certification/credential required and in good standing
