The Coder II applies intermediate-level coding knowledge to accurately assign diagnosis and procedure codes using ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and CPT-4 classification systems. This role reviews clinical documentation for coding accuracy and compliance, monitors bill hold reports, and collaborates with leadership to support coding quality initiatives. The position also supports less experienced coders through mentoring, training, and professional development activities.
