Mercor is seeking a certified CPT medical coder to support AI research lab work on a short-term contract basis. The role is remote and focuses on accurate CPT and ICD-10 coding of medical records and clinical documentation while maintaining high quality and productivity standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Active CPC and/or CRC certification (AAPC or equivalent)
- Proven experience with CPT coding
- Strong ICD-10 coding experience
- Currently certified and actively practicing as a medical coder
- Preferred: experience with HCC coding, MEAT documentation principles, and risk adjustment coding
