Omega Healthcare is hiring 3 Facility IP Coders with a strong focus on oncology coding for a single comprehensive cancer facility.
This role is dedicated to inpatient facility coding for hospital reimbursement, with an emphasis on complex medical and surgical cancer cases. The position includes full-time hours, Monday through Friday between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM EST, with productivity and accuracy expectations outlined below.
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Productivity expectation: 1.25 CPH
- Accuracy requirement: 95%
- Laptop provided, unless you prefer to use your own equipment
- Pay is $41/hour, with flexibility based on experience
Requirements & Qualifications
- CCS certification required
- Experience with Athena required
- Familiarity with Altera Sunrise and Mosaic is preferred
- Experience coding complex medical and surgical charges for cancer cases
- Strong understanding of NCI Guidelines
- SEER training knowledge required
- Understanding of Vizient mortality model
- Ability to meet productivity and accuracy standards
