UCHealth is seeking an Inpatient Coder to join the Inpatient Coding department in Denver, CO. This role is responsible for assigning ICD-10 and PCS codes for medical diagnoses and procedures, reviewing accounts throughout the hospital stay, and updating coding as documentation is added.
This position is 100% remote, and eligible out-of-state candidates may be considered. The role works full time on a day shift schedule.
High school diploma or GED.
Coding-related certification from AHIMA or AAPC.
Preferred certification:
- CCS Certification
Accepted/related credentials include:

Experience required:
- 1 year of inpatient coding experience, or
- 3 years of outpatient coding experience.
