Shawnee Health is seeking a Certified Professional Coder for its remote billing office. This role reports to the Assistant Revenue Cycle Manager and is responsible for coding and posting charges across provider specialties, payer types, hospital visits, and surgeries. The position also includes coding audits and feedback to clinicians for educational and compliance purposes.
Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Certified Professional Coder certification (CPC or CPC-A)
- Must maintain CEUs for CPC certification
- Must reside in Illinois
- Must live within a 50-mile radius of Carterville, Illinois
