LifeBridge Health is a purpose-driven health system serving the mid-Atlantic region. The Health Information Management Department supports Sinai Hospital, Northwest Hospital, Carroll Hospital, Levindale, and Grace Medical Center by providing timely access to health information for continuity of patient care and authorized requests.
Key responsibilities include coding and abstracting inpatient medical records, grouping codes to determine diagnosis-related groupings (DRGs), and assigning ICD-10-CM/PCS codes based on physicians' diagnoses and procedures.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Formal working knowledge equivalent to an associate's degree (2 years of college) in a specialized field
- 1 to 3 years of experience
- CCS or CCA with 5+ years of experience, or RHIT or RHIA certification
