York General Family Medical Clinic is seeking a Medical Coder to support accurate coding, claim processing, and insurance verification for providers and patients.
In this role, you will review patient records, assign ICD and CPT codes, process claims, help resolve denials, and support compliance with coding guidelines and HIPAA standards.
This is a Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm full-time position within the Family Medicine Medical Records department.
Requirements & Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical office experience
- Some knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work collaboratively with providers and staff
Preferred
- Experience with ICD and CPT coding
- Previous claims processing or medical billing experience
- Familiarity with electronic health records and healthcare software systems
