This role is a full-time Medical Payment Poster (Payment Analyst) position supporting revenue cycle operations in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to communicate across multiple departments while maintaining accurate payment posting and remittance reconciliation processes.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM EST
Work arrangement: Hybrid role based in Albany, New York, with three days in office and two days remote each week. The posting also lists fully remote work as a benefit.
Applicants should have:
- High school diploma
- At least 1 year of current revenue cycle experience
- Basic knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) certification is a plus
- Understanding of government rules and regulations, including fraud and abuse risks related to coding and documentation
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
