Collections Representative role supporting third-party accounts receivable for denied and unresponded claims.
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (PST/MST/CST)
- Manage third-party AR by analyzing denied and unresponded claims
- Make outbound calls to insurance carriers to appeal claims and check status
- Coordinate with insurance carriers to resolve issues
- Process insurance and patient refunds and adjustments
- Respond to emails related to AR issues in a timely manner
- Maintain compliance and HIPAA standards
- Meet daily production and quality standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Telecommuting supported with a dedicated private work area
Requirements & Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to create and modify spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST
Preferred
- Medical billing experience
- Familiarity with explanation of benefits and appeals
