Responsible for identifying and recovering hospital underpayments from insurance payors, ensuring accurate reimbursement in alignment with contract terms. Actively participates in payer meetings and calls to address payment discrepancies, drive resolution, and promote ongoing compliance with facility reimbursement requirements.
Full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to disseminate information to a variety of users.
Preferred experience includes advanced knowledge of:
- Insurance contracts
- Managed care and government reimbursement terms
- Billing regulations
- Financial systems or contract management systems
Minimum qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of related healthcare or insurance company experience required
- Knowledge of MS Office applications, especially MS Excel and MS Word, required
