Remote inpatient coding contract role supporting a healthcare provider committed to quality and compliance.
- Fully remote, but residency in Kentucky or Indiana is required.
- Contract length is 3 months with possible extension.
- Full-time schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM EST.
- Start date: ASAP.
- Responsible for accurate and complete inpatient coding to support physician and hospital outcome reporting.
- Use coding software and EHR systems such as Solventum 360, CAC, and Epic.
- Collaborate with providers and team members to resolve documentation and coding discrepancies.
- Follow confidentiality and data security standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 2+ years of traditional inpatient coding experience.
- Associate degree required.
- Coding certification required.
- Knowledge of Coding Clinic and AHA Official Coding Guidelines.
- Experience with Solventum 360, CAC, and Epic systems.
- Microsoft Office, EHR, and Encoder experience preferred.
- Experience with complex surgeries such as spinal and cardiac cases preferred.
- Strong attention to accuracy, compliance, and continuous quality improvement.
