Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- One of the following coding credentials at time of hire: HCS-D, CCS, CCS-P, CPC-H, or RHIT/RHIA with achievement of one of the coding credentials above within one year of hire
- Three to five years of coding experience required
- Inpatient coding experience preferred
- Ability to maintain at least 95% accuracy and meet productivity standards
- Maintain continuing education requirements per policy
