Dane Street is seeking highly motivated coders, bill reviewers, and payment integrity reviewers to join its group health review team.
This role involves reviewing reports and accompanying medical records to ensure that medical billing information and coding are accurate. You will communicate with other reviewers and office teams to clarify information, confirm all questions have been addressed, and ensure reports are returned within client deadlines.
The position supports a fast-paced, high-performance environment with strong growth potential and opportunities to apply clinical knowledge in medical review and quality assurance.
Must have one of the following certifications: CPC, APCC, CMBS, or DRG coder certification.
Preferred qualifications:
- Payment integrity or professional bill review experience
- Out-of-network bill review experience
- Experience working in a remote environment
- Background in a medical office or healthcare setting
Skills required:
- Ability to work with urgency and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated with a strong drive for performance excellence
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with common computer programs such as Google Chrome, Gmail, Docs, and Sheets
- Strong attention to detail
