This role is responsible for medical coding for hospital and professional providers at Elliot Hospital. The position focuses on accurate, compliant coding to support documentation integrity, reimbursement, and revenue cycle performance.

The Professional Production Coder assigns CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 codes to professional services in accordance with current coding guidelines, payer requirements, and regulatory standards. The role also collaborates with providers and coding leadership to resolve discrepancies, support quality improvement, and help minimize denials.

Requirements & Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required
2+ years of coding experience required
AHIMA or AAPC coding certification required
