Requirements & Qualifications
Education and experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Two years of work-related training or experience in coding
- Experience with encoder systems and computer information systems
License and certification
- Active Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) credential
- Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) credential
