The Cancer Registrar is responsible for the identification, collection, and management of health, medical, and outcome information on all oncology patients. This includes abstracting and coding specific patient, cancer, and treatment information from multiple sources and maintaining and updating existing patient records annually.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education
- Associate’s degree in Biomedical, Medical Technician, or Medical Records, or equivalent work experience in medical coding or cancer registry required.
Licensure / Certifications
- Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) certification required.
Experience
- Relevant healthcare experience preferred.

- Pay range: $27.27 to $36.88 per hour
- Part-time compensation is prorated based on scheduled hours and applicable FTE
