Southwest Montana Veteran's Home is seeking a Medical Records / Nursing Scheduler to join the team.
The role supports nursing staff scheduling and daily assignment coordination to help meet the needs of patients and the facility. This position works closely with the Director of Nursing or designee and helps maintain accurate, timely staffing coverage and attendance tracking.
Requirements & Qualifications
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience with scheduling staff, preferably in a medical setting
- Nurse scheduling experience: 1 year required
- Skilled nursing facility experience: 1 year preferred
- Long-term care experience preferred
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Computer proficiency
- Successful completion of a training and competency evaluation program required
- Completion of orientation required by company policy
- Health screening and TB test, if required, within two weeks of employment
- Mandatory drug test within 90 days of hire
- Must pass criminal background check
- Must comply with local, state, and federal regulations related to the job
- Must provide evidence of identity and employment eligibility within 3 days of hire
