Patient Care Coordinator

Join a busy specialty dental practice as a Patient Care Coordinator supporting the front office and patient experience.

This role is responsible for creating a welcoming first impression, managing administrative tasks, and helping ensure patients and visitors receive excellent service throughout their visit.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST

Requirements & Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients to the dental office
  • Maintain accurate patient records
  • Answer incoming calls and route calls or take messages
  • Check, sort, and forward emails
  • Update records and files
  • Keep the front desk tidy and stocked with necessary materials
  • Help coordinate other office responsibilities as needed

Background and Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of front office experience required
  • Familiarity with office machines such as fax and printer
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Customer service orientation
  • High school diploma required
  • Desire to help patients
  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment
  • Ability to assist patients safely in and out of chairs or treatment areas
  • Ability to maintain clinical positioning for extended periods
  • Ability to work around medical equipment and instruments
  • Ability to follow OSHA and infection control standards
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements
  • Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations
