Patient Care Coordinator for a busy specialty dental/oral surgery practice in the Denver metro area. This role focuses on creating a positive first impression for patients and visitors while supporting front office and administrative operations.
Responsibilities include:
- Welcoming patients to the dental office
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Answering incoming calls and routing messages
- Checking, sorting, and forwarding emails
- Updating records and files
- Keeping the front desk tidy and stocked with materials
- Assisting with other office responsibilities as needed
Schedule options include either four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts.
Requirements & Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience as a front desk representative or in a similar role
- Familiarity with office machines such as fax and printer
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities
- Problem-solving skills
- Customer service orientation
- High school diploma
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods
- Ability to operate standard office equipment
- Ability to assist patients safely in and out of chairs or treatment areas
- Ability to work around medical equipment and instruments
- Ability to follow OSHA and infection control standards
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements
- Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations
