We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Charge Entry & Document Specialist. This role is responsible for accurate charge entry of professional and ancillary physician services and supplies, as well as retrieving medical records from various sources and scanning/uploading them into the practice management system for charge entry purposes.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a healthcare setting, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment under the direction of the coding team.

Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
The candidate should have:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical records, medical coding, or medical billing
- Working knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 codes
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Ability to identify and handle medical records in a HIPAA-compliant manner
- Availability to work 40 hours per week
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, including HIPAA and Medicare/Medicaid guidelines
