Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Trophy Club is hiring a Charge Auditor to support the accurate entry and reconciliation of surgical case charges.
The role focuses on ensuring charges for implants, supplies, labs, pathology, and other surgical services are entered correctly and posted in a timely manner so patient claims can be billed accurately. The position also helps identify and report discrepancies, maintain the charge entry queue, and support internal controls and quality improvement efforts.
The coordinator works closely with hospital staff, materials management, leadership, and revenue cycle team members to support clean claim submission and accurate patient accounts.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
- 3 years of medical experience in a hospital or doctor's office setting preferred
Skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent telephone skills
- Good computer skills, including MS Office
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information
- Ability to use an electronic health care record system for documentation
