Patient Care Coordinator

Drayer Physical Therapy Institute

Drayer Physical Therapy, a brand partner of Upstream Rehabilitation, is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to support daily clinic operations in Cayce, SC.

This role supports patient intake, scheduling, insurance verification, and front office operations. The Patient Care Coordinator helps create a welcoming clinic environment, supports practice management tasks, and works closely with the Clinic Director to ensure efficient clinic procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Greeting patients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner
  • Scheduling new referrals and patient visits
  • Verifying insurance coverage
  • Collecting patient payments at the time of service
  • Managing front office organization and workflow
  • Handling document routing, deposits, and non-clinical documentation
  • Supporting caseload, discharge candidate, progress note, and insurance reporting
  • Participating in required training and compliance updates
Requirements & Qualifications

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well with business office and field leadership
  • Ability to multitask and maintain organizational detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work with little to no supervision
  • Strong time management and presentation skills as part of a team

Physical Requirements

  • Primarily sedentary office work in an indoor environment
  • Ability to sit, stand, and communicate effectively throughout the day
  • Frequent use of a computer, phone, printer, keyboard, and mouse
  • Ability to perform repetitive typing and read computer screens for extended periods
  • Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 lbs
